Rainy, Rain, Rain. Dark.

The time changed last weekend. It has been raining since I got out of bed. We went downtown to get cold and wet walking on 2nd avenue. Then we waited for the 43 bus in the wind and rain. You can always find a 43 on Pike (damn, or is it Pine). But the thing is, it always waits for a really long time one block from where you stand in the wind and rain wait for it.

Hot borscht, piroshky, and half a dozen cinnamon mini doughnuts were barely enough to get us through the day.

Excellence in Pie Charting

Pie charts are often ridiculed for their low data content and poor human factors. We humans, it seems, are better at comparing straight lines then estimating the areas of pie slices. But there are cases where pie charts impart a message in a unique way.
